Meet the Harts!

We are a husband and wife team, Brian and Kris Hart and we love to travel. As our kids have grown and we are approaching the “empty nest” phase of our lives, we have started to gear up for retirement and adventure. We started taking small long weekend trips a few years ago and decided why not share what we have learned about travel tips, favorite places and things to see and do at each of the places. 

Brian is an avid outdoors person and loves to rock climb, hike and explore the highest mountain tops. He has climbed Mt. Rainier in Washington, Mt. McKinley in Alaska and even Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa!

As for me, Kris, I love both the mountains and the beach and am so excited to travel to new places and then write about it! I grew up spending my summers in the Adirondack Mountains and the rest of the year living in New Jersey only 45 minutes to the Jersey Shore, so I had the best of both worlds.

We love to travel and explore this great country we live in, but can’t wait to branch out to more of our world and cultures. We hope you decide to come along with us on these adventures.
